Program Design and Delivery

In addition to working with intact work teams, The Rider Group designs and delivers many types of specialized interactive programs. Each program is customized to bring people together on whatever level is required. Some examples include:

• Conference kick-offs that are lively and interactive set the stage, get people energized and ready to learn and even enhance attendance at subsequent events. After we conducted an interactive opening program for the annual meeting of a large association in Canada, one participant commented, "I got to know more people in 4 hours than I have met in all the years I've attended these meetings. I look forward to the next conference to reconnect with them and continue to meet others."
  
  
• Retreats provide a concentrated, in-depth experience. They may prepare a new or existing group to work together over an extended period of time or focus on a specific task or issue . The Rider Group professionals design and facilitate retreats for corporations, professional practices, boards, departments, community groups and leadership programs throughout the country. The Board Chair of a Community Leadership Program in New York says, "I would highly recommend The Rider Group to any leadership organization. Their expertise in experiential learning has helped shape our program days into eagerly anticipated events".
  
  
• Partnering brings multiple entities together to accomplish a specific project or task, such as a construction project. In a compact and focused partnering session, participants agree on a mission, how to work together, measures of success, and specific ways to resolve any conflicts that might arise. As an example, we worked successfully with a team of both union and management representatives who came together to design, build and market a new product. Participants consistently report that the partnering process plays a crucial role in successful project completion.
